About Our Veterinary Internship Program
Applications for veterinary internships will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Our client base spans a wide variety of disciplines and are quite educated and willing to take advantage of the latest that equine medicine has to offer.
Since our clinic opened in Fall 2005, SEVH has welcomed and fostered the careers of many veterinary students. We are constantly investing in state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for our clients. We have good professional relations with referring veterinarians in the region and strive towards a progressive and excellent standard of care.
How to apply
SEVH limits the number of internships based on available openings and how well you fit with our team. This enables us to give the highest level of education and time to each individual veterinarian. The practice is busiest from February through October.
Application requirements include a letter of intent, resume and at least two letters of recommendation from an equine veterinarian (private practitioner or clinical professor). An externship prior to application is strongly recommended. Submit to Medical Director
